This A20 head unit replaced a Q20 head unit on an R20 slider. I like the complete 360° coverage of the latching mechanism. Though the Q20 never gave me a problem I never felt quite as confident in it as I do the A20. This hitch is used to pull a Keystone Cougar RD24 with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds. An A16 would be lighter and probably sufficient but for those times when the camper gets jerked around really hard on bad roads I feel safer with the higher capacity A20. I discovered that the kingpin of the Cougar is not considered compatible with the Q20 head unit so I switched to the A20.
Excellent product - nice & smooth operation during towing (works well in conjunction with LCI Rota-Flex pin box. Easy to hook/unhook. etrailer provides good prices and free shipping. I am very satisfied and would recommend this purchase to others.

What a great upgrade. The flexing head unit is a game changer.
Legs and 5th wheel head purchased separately fit my new 2020 Sierra 2500 HD perfectly. Directions to assemble were easy to follow. Thank you etrailer

Was very pleased with the condition and build quality of this product. I've towed with it 1 time so far. It works great. Very easy to install and couple to my 5th wheel. My only issue is the powder coat is flaking off on the front of the 5th wheel plate. I'm going to add a photo. Right side of opening is where it chipped.

I recommend using a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum to touch up the 5th wheel hitch.

Product is perfect, worked well with my existing puck system that previously held my A16. Some people reported damaged packaging upon receipt since the unit is about 100 lbs., however they may have changed the packaging process as mine arrived undamaged in a well constructed case within a box. It did contain the four mounting bolts with lock washers and nuts which was nice, or I would have used the ones from my A16, but I was able to add two more in the extra holes this unit had. All I had to do was put together the handle and hooked up very smoothly. If you ever work with Quinn he is awesome!
This hitch was very easy to install. It did come missing one of the bolts to attach the head to the base. I contacted George at etrailer customer service and he sent the replacement bolt out ASAP and I got it in just a couple of days. Got the hitch completely installed and it seems to operate just fine. Haven't towed with it yet but it functions fine. I highly recommend etrailer.com for their outstanding customer service.
As stated in many reviews the packaging is a farce. You can’t ship 100lbs hunk of steel in a plastic lined cardboard box and expect it to arrive unscathed. The hitch is quite and works fine in combination with my MORryde pin box. Save yourself $xxx and buy the hitch separately head and base.
Received my Curt A20 Fifth Wheel Head, but have not had a chance to try it out yet. The A20 head unit is a well constructed, very strong unit that continued to work as it should. I want to note however, that due to the weight of the 5th wheel hitch assembly I have switched to a Reese Pin Box purchased through Etrailer.
